Edson Dias of DiasPhoto.com in Boston, MA told us about a recent engagement session he photographed. He said, “Jess and Brian’s session was taken at Piers Park in East Boston. We had a great time expressing our creativity. Jess is a lot shorter than Brian which was a concern for the couple regarding how the photos would look. I thought it would be cute to address the height difference with the “standing on books” shot. Many of the photos taken were inspired by the bride-to-be’s Pinterest board. I also wanted to do something different and am often inspired by cinema and production value. That led me to plan the bed-of-pink-flowers shot. It was a wonderful session with a great couple that resulted in some great shots.”

Kristen Weaver of Kristen Weaver Photography in Oviedo, FL spoke to us about a recent wedding she photographed. She said, “There was an amazing calm energy surrounding Erin and Eric’s wedding day, something we’re not accustomed. I found myself saying (about 20 times), ‘This is what I want on my wedding day!’ So why was it so different from our other weddings? To start, Erin and Eric chose to get ready – together. No bridesmaids, no groomsmen. Just the two of them. Starting a life together is no small feat and having that time alone, together, reminds you why you’re really there. Their wedding was actually the first time I met Erin or Eric. I loved coming in “blind”! I knew very little about their day and loved the mix of gunmetal, black and soft pinks and Erin’s shoes made me swoon! I love an amazing pair of Badgley Mischkas! It had a little bit of feminine with just a touch of rock. Their reception was stunning with an amazing black cake, gorgeous pink up-lighting and pale pink peonies and roses! All around, this was an amazingly designed event!”
